Help & Template Guide
Overview
OMJ Question Converter helps you prepare question data for the Omoshiroi Japan (OMJ) learning platform. You can author questions three ways:
- Write Questions: Use the browser-based form editor.
- Upload Word: Download an official .docx template, fill it in, and upload it.
- Paste Text: Paste multiple questions in the OMJ template syntax.
OMJ Template Syntax
All three input methods use the same internal parsing engine. The template syntax uses explicit block markers and field labels:
=== OMJ QUESTION START === PROFILE: JLPT LEVEL: N5 GROUP_ID: kanji TYPE: kanji ID: N5-Kanji-1 TITLE: もんだい1 の ことばは ひらがなで どう かきますか。 PASSAGE: QUESTION: いま <u>店の</u> まえにいます。 OPTION_A: いえ OPTION_B: えき OPTION_C: みせ OPTION_D: へや ANSWER: C IMAGE: AUDIO: EXPLANATION: CHAPTER: Lesson 01 SECTION: Kanji LESSON: Lesson 01 TAGS: N5 | Vocabulary | Kanji === OMJ QUESTION END ===

data/N5.json). - Add any referenced image and audio files to the corresponding
assets/folders. - Test the questions in the OMJ application.
